NICE! It's great to see one actually got used versus all the pristine pocket accessories i've seen.

Very cool post indeed. I want to hold one of those bad boys just to get a feel for it. Really have no interest in owning one (I would be lying if I said the price wasn't a factor in that) Still want to play with one someday.

Thanks for posting this!

I'd like to add a comment about the edge geometry of the CQC9. The other knives in my EDC rotation (shown above, last photo) also have ATS-34 steel and were made in the mid to late 1990s. Both of those two knives (Terzuola and Elishewitz) are double V ground, and both have several minor rolls along the edge from the use I put them through. All three knives including the CQC9 have dulled from use, but only the CQC9's edge has remained clean without rolls.

An update - I made some earlier comments about the blade being not as suitable for thin materials such as paper. After a light strop, the blade is now perfectly capable of cutting cleanly through paper, although it still fails to cut well on very thin materials traditionally used to test razor sharpness such as phonebook paper or arm hair.

I found the Ergos a little funky for my hand. The handle is a little short and the guard gets in the way of the opening arc. I love the s shape blade though :) thanks for the review.
