Hi. This is my first post so I hope I'm not breaking any forum etiquette by just jumping in and showing off my work!

I have been making knives for a few years and have recently become interested in knives for the kitchen. This is kitchen knife number 4 :)

Looks fantastic. I started making kitchen knives abou a year ago and I've been totally hooked ever since.

That looks really interesting can you post some dimensions, length, height at the heel, thickness of the blade, etc.

Thanks fellas.

bear1889: The blade is 150mm long, about 44mm wide at the heel and 2.5mm thick gradually tapering to a moderately fine point. The overall length is 260mm and it balances at the choil.

Blade hardness is 61RC (cryo treated). The faces are convex ground to almost zero with a 15 degree secondary bevel.

The bolster is ebony and the spacer in nickel silver.

Hope that covers it :)

Great looking knife! Like the over all proportion of the blade to the handle. Looks sharp, perfect for the kitchen. Great job!

Very nice work! Do you have an email address? I had a couple of questions. Thanks, Josh
