12c27 Sandvik in the US

H - I'm also interested in finding out where this steel can be purchased and who heat treats it (Paul Bos perhaps?). It gets good marks as a first rate cutlery steel but is dependent on accurate heat treating.

In previous threads Darryl Ralph and David Bloch of Outdoor edge have made positive comments about using this steel. Perhaps they would like to chime in with a source or two?
