ooh, only a few minutes too late. I would've liked one of those 8.5" to toss in my daily bag.

Doh! :( Good snag there Andy! I was all over that one, but am an hour late. Great buy, beautiful rare wood handle, and at least 6 oz. lighter than a standard Jange, AND with a full length tang.

Very nice grab for you!

Regards,

Norm

Sweet, just got the Chitlangi. This will be my second HI product. I will take pics as soon as I get it.

You won't be sorry! My very first HI knife, a 21" chitlangi, is still my favorite. Just a great blade with nice fullers and wonderful balance, and a handle you can really hang onto.

Norm

Thanks Norm. For $95 I couldn't let it go. I love that the Sword of Shiva goes so far down the blade. Full tang too. Nice. It will be my first saaj wood handled khuk. I wasn't in immediately either. Can't believe I got it. Woo hoo!

Right on, I am looking forward to it. Just something about it called to me. I was going to try and hold out for a 20" or so Chiruwa Ang Khola to go with my 16" model, but I just could'nt help myself:D .

Thanks Ad. I am still looking forward to some pics of your collection. I wish I could make that Khukuri Convention, but its not a possibility for me. I think we on the eastern end of the loaf should do a camping convention where we can really use our knives the way God would want us to.
