13 second knockout

Dayum that guy is good!! Really want to see a rematch but McGregor may vacate the belt to move up to 155. If so, Frankie Edgar will say he's pissed but probably relieved.

Frankie Edgar has fought everybody for the last decade. He's lost but never been blown out, including Benson Henderson who was a huge lightweight and is at welter now. He might not beat McGregor but I'm pretty sure he isn't scared to fight anybody, much less a guy who hasn't proved he can beat a top wrestler, other than a late notice Chad Mendes (who by the way Edgar knocked out in the first round this weekend). And, he is going to make a lot more money fighting McGregor than anybody else.

Up until this point, I really didn't think he fought anyone really that good. Max Holloway wasn't what he is now when McGregor beat him. I thought Dustin Poirier would hand him a beating. I thought that Mendes would have beat him with full camp. But, there's no denying McGregor anymore, at least on my part.

I was at a local sports bar to catch the fights. After the knockout, a guy next to me jokingly told the waitress "I want my money back!"

I'm sure someone will eventually come along to humble this guy and his unrelenting mouth. Someone always does (even for Anderson Silva). But that may be a while. I don't see any current contenders that will likely offer much of a challenge. That being said, Conor's success may be his biggest challenge. His ego could easily run out of control.

He is a natural born, very gifted fighter. He just won't shut up, and it's only going to get worse!

and Burger King during the Jacare v. Romero fight.

Yeah, that was a good fight too. A lot of great fights in fact. I didn't see the earliest prelims, but none of the fights I saw were boring. And that's unusual for a PPV, because too often PPV main card fights can be boring because fighters are trying to not lose rather than trying to win. The most exciting fights are often the free Fight Nights filled with no-names, up-and-comers, and mid-level guys (and gals) that are trying to impress and make a name for themselves. I haven't seen Thrusday's or Friday's fights yet, since I was stuck at work (I have them downloaded though - was gonna watch them tonight, but I got called in again).

It annoys me when people are only interested in the Main Event. Especially on a card like 194 when the "Co-Main Event" is also a title fight. It's just that the Aldo/McGregor fight had more hype, which means putting that fight last gets more PPV buys. The middleweight championship fight is no less important, it just gets second billing because it's not as marketable. The Romero/Souza fight was extremely important too, as it could determine a title contender a fight or 2 (and no more) down the road.

And Rockhold beat the guy who beat Anderson Silva TWICE, as well as a few other legends, and in devastating fashion. ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!?

You got one. Or did you make a McDonalds trip during the Weidman/Rockhold fight?

LOL! Yes, the rest of the card was very entertaining.

I was expecting a bloody war between Aldo and McGregor though.... not a "blink and you miss it" affair.
