Well I thought I would share what I did today. I got the 1311 I have used it a little bit. I think it is an awesome chopper. Of course the cardboard sheath was leaving a little to be desired so I made this one today. I have made a few sheaths but Im still just in the beginning stages of learning.

I put a couple of D rings on the outside to attach straps to if you wanted to carry it baldric.

On the back I put an extra strap at the bottom so I can lash it to a pack. Thats probably how I will use it the most.

Looks better than good for "the beginning stages of learning", especially the back

Thanks, I have made maybe 8-10 sheaths so far. Each one gets a little better, but this one was a lot bigger and more complicated than any I have done so far.

Looking real good buddy. Did ya pick up anything usefully from the video I sent home with ya from uncle E's? It sure looks like it. Well done!

Yeah it has helped a bunch. I need to watch the rest of it lol!

Very nicely done! I've been rolling my own for a while now and can REALLY appreciate the work a sheath of that size requires...

Excellent job.

Looks like your learning curve is getting mighty short. :) Well done.

Working around those loops for the D rings is a pain in the rear eh? :p

Really nice job. 8-10 sheaths and you are doing that good. Man, I could make 100 sheaths and it wouldn't look that nice.
