While reading in another thread Youippari mentioned 1337. I had to know what that was so I searched.

Found this and the top article about a fellow from Lexington KY, talk about letting your problems/addictions run your life.

Henry Earl

Could it mean 1337 as in...

m3 iz 1337

1 0wn5 j00

or the like?

Dunno, I think I missed the tread.

I found it. I was right. I feel so smart. (and hip too). :D

Hmm... 851 arrests from 1992 to date, comes to 138 months, averages 6 arrests a month. No problem understanding that, but where did he live before his 42nd birthday?

So he's 54 now, but if he keeps getting let out, his chances of living to be 55 are poor, and to 56 effectively none.

lol. I rarely use the term 1337 or more commonly spelled l33t. As a single term it means elite or the best. Usually I would say uber (meaning great or the best) both terms are most commonly used as a description of skill and both are common in counter strike or other fast paced games. Another term you might want to watch out for is woot. If you go to dictionary.com it will send you away then tell you that it means
WOOT Waste of Our Time [never seen this]
WOOT We Owned the Other Team (gaming term; less common) [never seen this]
WOOT Wonderful Loot (Everquest gaming slang; also seen as W00T) [I [I dont play everquest but this seems the most plausable]
or it could simply say that it means "yay!" since that is the most common use I have seen for it.

but...but...but...

You are missing the point. The damage he is doing himself is pointless. The MAN is keeping him down!

Dunno... Your original thread was "What does L337 mean". However you found the meaning on a page which happened to be mostly about something else.

L337 speak is not exclusive to that guy's page. I think it's some form of geeky computer nerdy language that many folk use. I suspect mostly by pimply faced adolecents or wierdos like me.

w00t

:D

You are right Bruise.

I went and pulled up the floor out in my shed. My Uber 1337 computer geek that used to live under a rock, but needed more space for his porn collection, looked up and was blinded by the non-CRT light.

After his screaming in pain, and then using the torture knives to extract information, I found out that yes 1337 means, in current geek cant, Elite. Which they use to mean someone that does an extra-good job. Of course like most true Uber geeks he long ago lost the ability to speak in English. Now he just forwards Earls. (thats URL's or internet address's to us none-geeks)

Then I asked him (since he is UK educated) if he'd heard of Henry Earl, he said that of course he had. They apparently had a game deciding what they would do each evening after class depending on Mr Earl was currently in custody or not.

Sorry about the thread wandering, I thought my original post title was 1337, I found it, then found something else I thought was interesting. I'll try to stay more on topic. I managed to work Torture knives in the thread so I could make sure there was something Kuhkri related in here.

Poor guy, I wonder if you all use the torture knives horizontal to the finger nails, or perpendicular?

Just another blame everyone but myself folks.

The man is keeping me down too by not allowing me to legally own a death ray.

Well Bruise,

You could build your own deathray you know. Sorry I couldn't find a portable version...Death Ray

Tesla was working on something along these lines when he was found dead.
