13c26n and 14c28n differences

These are the two steels that kershaw has used as of late? If so I can get the 14 one much more sharp. In fact I can get it more sharp than anything else besides ZDP. It will easily tree top hairs and probably whittle them (I haven't tried). Edge retention is about like any of the mid to upper end stainless for me based on EDC usage.

Edge retention, corrosion resistance and it's run a little harder. All in all an excellent steel for the price!

The 14C28N is an exclusive to Kershaw.

This is a pic of 13C, 14C will also whittle hair.

Well I am sure some people can get just about any steel to whittle hair. But I'm not all that good of a sharpener and the only two that I can get to tree top hair are ZDP and the 14c stuff. Just my experience and I have tried and fair amount of different steels.

I use the card board wheels btw.

True. With the right stuff and skill, pretty much any quality steel
can whittle hair.
