Hi all here is one just completed. Forged 1084/15n20 damascus blade. S-pattern pressed into the forged blade and the highs ground off. The s-pattern dies for my press were made by a machinist buddy of mine. Handle is stabilized Redwood Burl. Spacer black G10, copper, nickel silver and Black Ash Burl. Guard is forged 1084/15n20 damascus. This one is 14.25" long. Sheath is 8-9oz. Wickett and Craig leather. Check it out and let me know what you think. This one will be on the table at the Ohio Classic knife show next weekend. Thanks for looking. -Burton

steel looks like a tide coming in, very nice!

Great looking knife Burton.
I really liked the last one I saw,
but it seems like each new one is even better.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the kind comments. Thanks for looking.

Lorien, thanks maybe I need to name it something like "rising tide" pattern :)

Mark this is Redwood Burl from you. Thanks, the stuff is very nice. I have several blocks from last year I think. Finished out very nicely.

Wow, that is one beautiful package! Both knife & sheath look very well made. Beautiful materials used.

Like!

Kind regards,

VERY nice knife AND sheath.

That's a NICE piece of burl and it looks good with the damascus pattern.

very nice, I don't know enough to know what I'm looking for on the s pattern, but that redwood burl is wild man.

I saw this when it was still in the rough and the final product does not disappoint; you are doing beautiful finish work, Burton.

That is a sweet blade. I have two billets of that same wood sitting Lamey's shop for some damascus builds. It is good to see what it looks like finished out.

Burton, Awesome knife and sheath, pretty good damascus too. Your work just keeps on getting better. Love it!!
