Hi all here is one just completed. Forged 1084/15n20 damascus blade. S-pattern pressed into the forged blade and the highs ground off. The s-pattern dies for my press were made by a machinist buddy of mine. Handle is stabilized Redwood Burl. Spacer black G10, copper, nickel silver and Black Ash Burl. Guard is forged 1084/15n20 damascus. This one is 14.25" long. Sheath is 8-9oz. Wickett and Craig leather. Check it out and let me know what you think. This one will be on the table at the Ohio Classic knife show next weekend. Thanks for looking. -Burton

I agree, knife is most excellent. Love that wood.

If I may - wow, stunning. I love the copper/silver/copper - the metals have a wonderful contrast and it might be the idea I was looking for! Also, it may be simple - but what you've done with the plunge line is just lovely.

Yep, I saw this one at the show. It was stinkin' cool. Burton may not have mentioned it (he is a humble guy) but he won both best damascus and best of show awards. They were both well deserved.

Hey thanks Matt I appreciate it very much. Matt won an award for best fixed blade which was very nice. Thanks again Matt and nice to visit for a bit. -Burton

Really a great blade. The two tones of wood go together very well and that redwood is rather catching.
