14" BDC arrived today!

WOW! This is a thing of beauty. Sher did a good job on this one. I'm smillin' very broadly. I can't imagine a tougher knife. The balance point is right at the front of the cho. The edge is almost convex.
Am I breathing a little hard? Sorry. Now, if the Bears win their opener tomorrow, I'll be hyperventilating. Too much to ask, especially considering we made it through another 9/11 without an Islamic fanatic terrorist attack.

I swaped Nasty out of his first 14" BDC. Made him an offer he couldn't refuse. That's been a goodly while back and it's still laying beside my chair where I first put it along with a 17" Villager.
Just never have had the heart to put either of them away as they are so handy for anything that may go bump in the night, or tries to force their way in.

A BDC in a 16"-17" format would maybe be as nice as a Foxy Folly of the same size!!!!

I really like the size of the 14" BDC. And I love the oval leaf shaped curve of the blade. The slab handle doesn't hurt either
