So if one of you has a #14 fetish speak now or forever hold your peace. If you have another LE and your favorite number just happens to be 14, let me know. Once I start using it, it won't be the same.

Yeah beat it:thumbup: but thnx for your generousity:thumbup:

See, I got emailed because someone is interested in it. I told him that all he has to do is buy another LE ship it to me and send me shipping money to ship mine to him and it's his. Sound fair??

That's very generous of you!

That's a nice gesture. Very HOG-like.

Of course, it's going to prolong your own urge to whack.

Kind of; 14 is pretty low so you left something on the table, not a bad thing but I think they should understand that you did.

And you might consider asking that rather than an LE numbered something like 439 that he might ask to get one without a number. Same cost to him.

And that was a nice thing to do.... I might start to like you;) :p

I really don't care what number he gets me since I am going to beat it like the red headed step child (where the hell did that term come from anyway). I am also going to smooth out the handles and sand them down to my liking hence, the reason why I posted this, since I know once I start screwing up the handles, there is no going back:eek:

tony, I like the no number idea since I will be using it hard anyway.

I have been fighting off the urge to order a LE for a user. As soon as I saw it I just wanted to sell the CGs and get another one. But I just had a good economic blast:thumbup: so a second LE is in my future.

Also it is funny because as you well know any bicycle we use is well over $4,000 and more like $6,000 and I have ten of them and I use every one. So I don't understand why I hold back on using a $700 knife. It just doesn’t make any sense. I mean really I’m not going to crash it and bust it up nor is it going to wear out or break.  Also using them does what... drops $50 off the sales price?

And this all reminds me I need to put some new tires on my bike si I can go ride. BTW that Serotta really does ride nice Colbalt, you should see if you can find one

I'm going to use the mess out of one of my LE's. I may do some handle mods like Cobalt is talking about, or I may just use it for a good, long while and then send it in for a refurb. Maybe, after some extended use, the Shop would put standard scales on it.

I know. I have my user Look campy chorus. My once in a while Merlin/Campy Record, then I have the Look KX with Record that I need to build up. I have a Trek Cross bike XO which I am going to sell for 650 or so since I never use it.

Yes, the middle of the Mag handle feels like a golf ball in my hand. I am definitely sanding that down and smoothing out the whole handle.
