Help!

Correct me if I'm wrong. I just won this knife on ebay. I borrowed the seller's picture until I receive it. Thus, there is no other picture of the opposite side.

I believe this is one of those 144L Hunter's Pride under Military contract. If so, what was the Military Name for it, M3?

G'Day Jackie, Did the seller show the military acceptance marks on the face of the rear pommel?..i.e. the exploding bomb etc...The military blades that I have are parkerised as well. Yours is a nice example with original sheath.You see so many SW Hunters described on Ebay as military which have those flimsy cross guards which are no way military or intended for heavy work. See the strength of your cross guard.
Apart from acceptance marks and the usual Schrade Walden etc mine dont have a model number. Hoo Roo

That's the only picture he had posted of it. Not much information was offered.

I'll look for the marks you mentioned once I get it.
