15"AK and BAS

What are the major differences between the 15" AK and the BAS? After buying several Khuks, I keep going back to my BAS. The only thing that I don't like is the engraving and horn handle. I have an AK but it was a special HI Deal that I believe is quite a bit thinner than the standard and is also a chiruwa.

A year or so back HI got in a bunch of oversized ( 16" long ) BAS's with wood handles. When Uncle comes back, have him look to see if any are left over.

Or see if there are any wood handled regular ( not chirruwa ) 15" AK's.

i beleive the british army service is has flat sides, so that its one big V, where as the ang khola has the large deep fullers. the british army service is thinner in profile, and a beleive a little less weight forward then the AK... but i do not have a BAS so i cant really comment from experience
