Good son to his father, good father to his son, soldier, warrior, bladesmith, artisan, his name is worthy of fame, his character, of respect, live long and well Sgt. Karka.

Sarge

Oh, y'all probably want to know about the khuk don't you? I can sum it up in one line; too dayumed pretty to use, too dayumed sweet not to. Any other attempts at description simply wouldn't do it justice.

Pickle indeed Josh, the scabbard of this thing is so elegant it would not look out of place at a black tie dinner, tucked in the front of one's cummerbund. But, as pretty as it is, all interest in it is lost once that khuk's out and in your hand. There could be no doubt in anyone's mind that Sgt. Karka knew what he was doing when he made it, and he made it to be used. Time for another CenTex Khuk Konvention, Pappy and Berk have got to see this one, it'll put a smile on their lips and a tear in their eye. ;-)

I to received a Sgt. Karka 15" AK today and beleive this is the best one out of the 4 knives I now have. I also recieved my first khukuri cut today. I was worried about it being sharp, but that worry was quickly put to rest.

I am very pleased with Sgt. Karka's work.

Thanks to Bill and Yangdu for their hard work and help.

I am also thrilled with the nice job the sarge does. I got one of his Bilton Kothimodas the other day. WOW!! It is hard to decide which is nicer the blade or the sheath. I was amazed at the fine attention to detail and really like the swirling grain patterns in the back of the handle. I never thought I would be impressed with a khuk of this size. I was wrong. This is a nice little blade with a real HARD sweet spot. It fits nicely in the front pocket of my jeans. I think I remember Yvsa mentioning carrying a small khuk this way. It is a useful way to carry this one. Although the chape on this baby is a weapon in itself. Ouch! The sarges work is top notch!

Yep, t'were me.:D But then you have to remember that I'm an old and Fat Man with size 48" waist jeans, back then.* When they're that big the pockets are generous and -deep.- :D
But then I was carrying my 13" balance model in my jean's pocket.;)

*Back in my 44" waist jeans now and down to 246 pounds and still losing slowly.:D
Been off cigarettes for 2 years, 1 month, 4 weeks, and 2 days, thanks to my SilkQuit meter keeping track for me.:D

I have to agree with the job Sgt. Karka does. We got one of the Biltons and it is beautiful. The scroll work on mine looks like a face looking at you. Keeping an eye on the place for me:D It's great!

I wish the good Sgt. would "retire" and come to work for us full time. One of the good guys besides being a fine kami.
