This thing is so much cooler than I expected, that I am already wondering which one will be next. Wife has nixed chopping of bamboo stands, so as soon as the snow leaves I'll find something else.
Thanks Bill, this baby is beautiful.

Congrats on your 15" AK. :D

They are nice aren't they? :) I like mine alot. Perfect first choice, notice I said first choice, you will get more.

Oh this is going to be bad. I'm glad the bamboo was nixed because this thing is like a work of art. I may have to get a WW2 next and work up to using this one. I read the safety thread along with alot of other stuff while trying to talk myself out of ordering one of these babies. One drawback, they are kinda hard to sleep with. :D

When you start using it, go slow. Pay attention to how it feels. Be safe. If you don't listen, they'll bite!

Made to use, made to use, madetousemadetousemadetouse......

Nope, hasn't worked yet.

Bill is right,as are the rest of you.

My wife let me chop a small amount of bamboo and then I moved on to some branches on a storm damaged tree. There is not a mark on my blade to tell the tale.

Somehow, I suddenly feel like I have plenty of folders.:D

I can easily imagine a van full of HI khuk-wielding er..enthusiasts...following weather reports and storm-chasers, waiting to attack all the fallen branches, trees, and general debris.

A bubble watch-tower built in the top of the van would serve as a look out for a person...say...with a 10 inch-handled, 9 1/2 in-bladed prototype HI experiment.

The battle cry? "NOT THE BAMBOO!!!"
