Here's a 15 inch Sirupati by the kami with no name. If I sent this knife out as top of the line HI stuff 99 out of 100 would not complain but the knife isn't perfect so into the blem box it went.

It's a 10/10 with the following two flaws. There is a slight irregularity in the edge grind near the tip. You have to do a double take to see it but it is there. Two, there are grain lines in the handle that may or may not develop.

Because of the two items mentioned we will discount this knife $40 and deliver it to your door today for $60.

Call or email if interested.

It's been a while since I've indulged in a new blade. With a little one on the way it will probably be a while again.

I gave my heavy duty Sher made BAS to a very good friend as well as a village model to another friend. I need to replenish my supply. This will be my 1st Sirupati.

Uncle Bill, did you ever get any of the plain YCS models in with all of the tools? That will probably be next on the list.

Beautiful blade. Very graceful profile.

Congratulations on the knife, Jaeger, and a BIG congratulations on the new little one! My first, a boy, was born just over a year ago, and it was the most amazing event of my life. My son is God's love made manifest to me. Every time he smiles at me I get the feeling that God is smiling at me through my son, and maybe He isn't mad and disappointed at me after all.

Whew! Okay, anyway, that is one sweet khukuri!

Thank you for the good wishes Xhead. I do truely feel blessed, although I know I don't deserve it. Perhaps one day our children can get together to play. Hmmmm.... they might need some khukuris of their own! Some 12" Sirupatis perhaps!

Well, it arrived the other day and I couldn't be more pleased! The slight irregularity at the tip is just that, slight. It effects nothing.

Uncle Bill, I am very impressed with the quality of the blades from Birgorka. I haven't purchaed a Birgorka knife since they started using the habaki style bolsters and the individual kami marks. I've bought a few villagers here and there but that's it.

The level of fit and finish is truely a cut above. This "blem" is beautifully executed. My webtv doesn't do the pictures here justice so this really was a pleasant surprise. The sarki with no name is also to be commended. He does fine work. This is going to make it VERY difficult to hold out and not purchase a few more!

I haven't used the blade much yet. I limbed a few tree branches but that's about it. It's a very agile, lively feeling blade. And it takes one heck of an edge! Nothing could ever replace my beloved Ang Kohla but I think this one will go hunting a few times. It should be great for cutting through brush as well as bone!

Thanks Bill.
