Hiya folks! Just to let you know my order took only:):):) 8 days to arrive in Europe. After spending hours researching various suppliers' websites, I decided Himalayan Imports was the one for me. It still seems hard to believe that such humble, simple manufacturing methods can produce such amazing quality! Then one remembers that these kami are truly professional artisans of the "old school", i.e. the knowledge and hard-earned lessons of generations is there for all to see. And experience - in the finished product! Cheers!

Congradulations and welcome to the club. It is hard to go wrong with a Himalayan Imports Khukuri. The kukri knife design is very much at home in the US as it is in the hardwoods of Europe. You have to love and admire the few committed Kamis sharing their heritage.
Below is an 18" Sirupate and a 18" Chitlangi (closed Kuada/Cho)
Hi Sirupate.jpg
The Sirupate is becoming my number one favorite not because it looks more elegant, or is well balanced. It's not even because it's usually lighter than other designs of the same length. The fact that a lot of the Gurkhas like the Sirupate style doesn't influence me. No, it is no.1 for me because it will do everything I ask well enough .
