15" village chiruwa AKs. Tough! Pix and bargain time for Christmas.

This is a typical village chirwa Ang Khola. 15 inches in length, give or take a little, and AT LEAST 3/8 thick. Weighs about 1.5 pounds. Steel bolster and buttcap as you can probably see for yourself. Decent fit and finish for a villager and blade is hardened up to 57 or 58 Rc. These are not especially beautiful but are made to do heavy duty work and a lot of it.

The karda and chakma are typical village and pretty much useless.

Scabbard is decent enough but not like the sarki with no name does it and the frog is okay.

Price for this villager is $65 which is less than half of what the HI version runs and a good buy if you want something you can beat the hell out of and not worry about destroying the looks. For what I use a knife for this is the one I'd get.

Call or email if interested. At last count I think I had 8 or 9 left.

Looks good to me! I don't mind this kind of ugly. In fact, I like it. My one villager is much "uglier" than this, but I love it. If I weren't broke right now, I'd buy one of these. I was thinking of it anyway, but I'd rather my wife didn't kill me (yet)

A tool is, basically, an object that enables you to take advantage of the laws of physics and mechanics in such a way that you can seriously injure yourself.

Tough call. I want a real HI one but this is such a good deal. If there are any left after the New Year, I will have extra money then, I will certainly take one. Until then I am saving for an authentic HI. Uncle Bill, if these stick around for another month or so, can you repost them?

Bro you should have e-mail.

I decided to go ahead and get one of these and if our friend doesn't like it I will give her my little 14" villager that she does like.
A win-win deal all the way around!!

And Barb said that if that didn't work we would just keep both of them.

Now just how much better wife could a man ask for?

I think Barb's turning into just as much of a knife knut as I am.
I know that Barb is a lot more interested, even before we made the Khukuri Konvention which we both enjoyed immensely, And Barb really enjoyed being at Terry and Sandi's place once again being able to be around friends and family talking khukuris and other knives as well as guns.
And Barb was also very impressed with the little Spydie Moran we got on sale over Turkey Day. Guess I will have to get the little drop point model for her so we can trade off once in a while.

I am one very fortunate man!!!

Can't resist any longer. I guess it's time for me to try a villager.
