New to the forums I posted my 1st post and Blade account as a side-note under Jeepnut22's blade account click here to check it out...my first post!!. Ken44 suggested I fire up my own thread to ensure my piglet accounts are not overlooked...ask and you shall receive...

So...here I sit with a healthy dram of 15 year Laphroaig and some fine new Busse INFI. With a healthy dram of Scotch and a camera in hand I somehow managed some descent shots...seems the subjects where quite cooperative tonight.

My first Busse...I can't wait to get some PANTS on this one!! Leaning towards Kenny Rowe Leather after seeing his work during my down-time from the trough at Blade. And YES, you are not mistaken, that IS Renaissance wax you've spotted on the bone! :)

Those damn expensive hobbies!! Does scotch drinking even qualify as a hobby...YES!! Hmm, isn't there a scotch appreciation month??

Great knives and great pics!!!!

Welcome to the forum!!!

We will be watching your collection grow;)

Welcome Ironklad ! Had a good time talking with you and Jeepnut Friday night.

Those pics are awesome:eek: Great score on both knives and you seem to fit right in at this place:thumbup:

Congrats & Welcome!! You did real well with those 2 ..... that SH-1 looks really nice and those handles are sweet on the GW.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

I'm off to buy a bottle of Laphroaig Quarter Cask and a bottle Ardbeg Ten. Maybe next week I'll buy my first Busse.

Cheers

Behind that there INFI...lies but a wee dram of the Ardbeg 17 :)

Aye...as if liquid gold...how sweet she is!!!

I can tell you as a fellow fan of Laphroaig and Ardbeg...Busse will not let you down!!

Cheers

You dove right in...very close to the deep end.

Next you'll buy an FBM, an FFFBM, or perhaps an AK!:D

2 real beauties you've got there!

Welcome to the madness... and congrats on your scores!!!

Great taste, bring the knives and come on over some time. I've got a few bottles you might enjoy sampling and a few blades you might enjoy handling.:D

The Laphroaig Quarter cask is quite a dram, as is the Ardbeg. Seems like you're a man after my own heart whisky wise. I guess good taste goes in three's after all - the above mentioned two and Busse's.
