Boy does time fly...feels like it wasn't long ago when I was introduced to the Busse knives yet as I looked through my email, I found my first order on 10/02/2007 for:

Game Warden - Satin .220" with black and tan G-10...and PORKFRIEDRICE Badger Attack - CG grade, black crinkle with mag black-tan G-10.

Both are long gone in the INFInite pursuit of more INFI.

I managed to bend the batac and just asked how to remedy the knife here. Boss hog himself pitched in with unsolicited offer to fix it or replace. I'll always mention that moment when I talk busse. In my mind it represents the quality commitment and trust the company puts into their work and product.

Over the years and many drinks later reading and hanging out here, it's fun informative I'm still drawn in to fight the urge to get more.

I think I'm almost there...to where I finally have found that one knife collection...I just need to buy 3 more knives....then my one knife collection would be complete! (Smatchet, dog soldier 8 (obviously none are listed for sale now), and a folder)

Drink up!! Cheers!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, I love that boss jack proto. When I just found out about Busse I wanted old school jack and Badger. But those were all $800+ back in 2007. I wanted either of those as a user. So when boss jack was introduced I jumped on a chance to get one....it's awesome...but I can't bring myself up to use it...I did get a Badger which is getting used though.

My brother had a Mean Street that I coveted for years. I used to read and post a lot here in early or mid 2000's. It wasn't till last year I got a Hell Razor after so many times almost pulling the trigger. I came close to getting a Tank Buster. And today I got my second Busse, I got the Nuclear option BOSS HOG BADGER. I got a great handle by luck of the draw. I was so scared it would be Pink G-10. I don't know this handle material but it might be Pistachio G-10. It's matte. It has the best green liners! The longer I sit here looking at it the better that I like it!

Its been ten years for me and I've been an Infiholic ever since I got my first Busse, that TGLB. I have only sold three of them and horded the rest. I have to say the Boss HOG Badger is one of my favorite recent acquisitions. I want another one and of course the Team Gemini sword I don't want to miss out on one of those either.

18 years of buying and selling Busse’s, a nice collection and “I just need to buy 3 more…”? That’s no piglet talking.
You, my friend, are a HOG! 😄

Well, I showed a lot of restraint since that post...I showed financial responsibility, self control, exercised moderation, an no mater how much I want it, I did not buy a Busse folder!

Busse makes smaller knives? Who knew?
What do those things look like?

Seriously my first mean street from busse in 1998-99 was this metal spike that had to be 0.30 inches thick. I actually thought about using it as a piton during a climb. Small knives are cute.

Still have it? or long gone?

Long gone. Never seen another one like it. It was thicker than my SHBM and SHSHII that came in the same shipment.

that is one that I do wish I still had and I sold it off cheap.

Sounds like a fatty MS proto in thickness
This one is very slightly under .30" now, after being Weiland-ized by its previous owner (ronybear) 🤙

Fattest I've ever had was still an ash1. Regretted for the longest time trading that one away. I'm approaching 20 years with the brand, but I came around after the real old school stuff. That mojo is like the only link to old times I still got.

Team Gemini still feels like new offering though hehe

That looks like a mid 2k re-edition?

For me that fattest I have is the HogB8

Sounds like he did the same thing he did with original shbm blanks and made them custom shop knives. So those are old blanks refinished custom. Likely
I found a post that backs up your mid- 2K info- Solstice Solstice owned them both for a period of time, can't be too long as the 1st time I saw the one I now have from ronybear, who had just received it back from Reese, was at my first Blade Show East show when he showed it to Jerry @ the booth. (2007).
