150 mph rocket knife

Some here may be familiar with this Youtuber. He does experiments in his backyard. In this latest video, he took a kitchen blade and strapped it to a small rocket motor. He's trying to replicate an experiment done by Mythbusters. I thought it was an interesting little experiment.

What has mankind wrought?

Gonna need a pocketclip and a thumbstud before I EDC it, though.

This is incredible. Please do more things that I want to watch!
 
Looks similar to the Mythbusters episode. Mythbusters used a rocket sled with a steel "blade" on top of it to cut completely through a car end to end with the rocket sled going 400 mph. Setting up a scaled down experiment in your backyard would be interesting but a sharpened edge at 150mph is nothing to laugh at and appropriate safety precautions need to be made. A 150mph blade in your backyard seems less than completely safe for your neighbors, possibly for yourself. And as they say- "don't try this at home, we're professionals".
