It should continue to serve you well. Good beefy blade and a very long production history.

Hello everyone... I also have this knife and have been trying to find out what kind of steel they used for the blade.. Anyone have any info?
Thanks

Yes, 1095 HC on all but the very last production, most of which were for special factory orders.

I have the same knife but it is stamped Craftsman USA. I bought it at Sears back in the early 70's. I am glad I kept it all these years.

Sears was a long time customer of the Baer brothers. They bought the first production of the 15OT as a market experiment.

This is the first issue example new in it's box. It is /was a part of my collection stolen a few years ago.
