153UH Sheath

was just looking around at knives and i noticed a 153UH for sale. the description was that it was made right before the door closed. it showed a sheath that was plain with no sharpening rock, my question is did Schrade change to this sheath at the end? i have never seen a 153UH with a plain sheath.

Not a 153UH sheath. I bought two of these knives in the last packaging blue and white box at a hardware store, it had the stone.


165OT or 165UH possibly

This seller is definitely capable of substitutions, he's been buying and selling for many years.

Or possibly a 160OT Mountain Lion. The non-stone sheaths for those knives were quite similar. 165UH would have had a stone sheath. 165OT had been discontinued some years before closing, but that doesn't mean there weren't NOS sheaths in stock. Yes, some sellers are well known for putting together boxes, sheaths, knives and even photocopied papers to sell a knife as "complete NIB".
