154-CM What?

Hi all, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules, and that I'm posting in the right place. I did read the rule against posting to try to sell or something, and that is not my intent. After searching this forum, google image, and reverse image searches for an hour I'm no closer to knowing what this is of it's real.

154-CM clearly etched/stamped into the blade. From the image searches it seems the only knifemaker I can find that uses this handle design is Paragon. But they don't seem to make anything like this. It also seems weird to have a nail-nick in a linerlock and sans thumb stud.

All I have are 440c, AUS-8, 8cr13mov some pretty low-mid range folders so is there a difference I would know right away if this was real 154-CM? Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Cheers,
Daica

This is a question for General.

Moving to the General Knife Discussion Sub-forum.

The only way to be certain would be through chemical analysis of the blade steel, but if I was betting, I'd bet against it being 154CM. It looks like a $3.00 flea market knife.

The construction of that knife is not even close to what you'd expect in a maker of sufficient quality to produce knives out of a premium steel like 154cm

It looks a whole lot like the crappy knife i keep in my tackle box.
