154cm (=k?)

OK. I got a BM Presidio 520BK. It is in 154CM of course. On the blade markings next to the steel type is a little symbol that looks like =k. My guess is that is the heat treat? That is only a shot in the dark guess so stop laughing please. Anyone know what it really indicates? Thanks.

That's "BK", BK1 coating.

that's actually the symbol for the BK coating. the B is black so you see the "holes" in the B as little dashes next to the K

Can't be. It is found on many of the newer uncoated models also.

Only my ultra light (or whatever its called) has that...and its below the 154cm, next to the thumbstud...

Edit: models owned: auto-resistor, 2 minigrips (one kw le s30v), ultralight.
