wich sharpening system would you recommend for 154CM ???

gentelmens ... paste your vote .

Sure, if you have the time to learn.

154CM can be sharpened with any of the popular systems. Do not use those cheapo, V shaped, carbide sharpeners. And do not use electric systems.

I recommend the Sharpmaker, made by Spyderco, as it is very easy to learn and you can get great results.

Ok, all together now:...one, two, three,....SHARPMAKER! :D

Well, seriously: I am always one to recommend lerning free hand on a good set of stones, but if you don't like put in the time, if you have other hobbies for example (what an weired concept.... ;)), or simply don't have the time, the sharpmaker is the way to go,...best together with a coarse DMT benchstone.

The answer is, btw., highly independent of the steel. Doesn't matter whether it is ATS-34 (154cm), CPM30V, 1095, D2 or whatever else you can think of...with the exception of traditional japanese kitchen knives which I would always sharpen freehand on waterstones. But that is more because of the extremly high hardness of their steel and not because of their steel type.
