I don't know why I'm wondering what knives are lockbacks with 154CM I was just playing with an Outdoor Edge folding caper and all of a sudden I was trying to think what lockback knives have 154CM steel. So if anyone can think of a knife with that lock and steel please let me know, I don't know why I'm wondering this but I am.

Ok cool I know that Cabela's has the S30V version which is what I want for Christmas.

Bass Pro or whatever the store's name is BUCK 110 immediately comes to mind.

Ah, but the Bass Pro 110 is in 154CPM, a somewhat different, even better steel from what I have heard.

Buck has been doing some nice stuff in regular 154CM, but I don't recall any of them being lockbacks.

Spyderco uses VG10. Kershaw uses a lot of steels, but I don't think 154CM is one of them.

Benchmade uses 154CM in their US knives, but I can't think of any American made Benchmade lockbacks.

Good question. I like lockbacks and I like 154CM. Hope you find one.

Yes the CPM 154 version is better and you can find it in the agrussell One Hand Knife.Hard to get a better steel !

Leatherman offers some of its backlock folding knives with 154CM blades. I now notice that they have just revamped their knives! Anyway, the bare bones Leatherman knives (without extra tools that often make their knives too wide) are very sturdy knives that merit your attention.

Here are the new ones.

I will probably buy the small one!

Yes I now remember us carrying Leatherman lockbacks in 154CM, and I don't really care if it's 154CM or CPM154CM both are great steels.

The small Leatherman is a liner lock. The large is a lockback.

I've got a yellow-handled A.G. Russell lockback with 154. It was made by Camillus, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks Robb, I had overlooked that.
Anyway I do think that these new Leatherman knives look pretty nice.

The Gerber Gator can be had with a 154CM Blade...And the Bass Pro Shop 110 comes in CPM154. Some folks would argue that there is a difference tween that and 154CM. From what I have read one can be polished better than the other or what ever. I am sure someone here has the break down if needed...

The ZT 0200 and 0500 both use 154CM.

The Kershaw Tyrade uses 154CM for the spine of the composite blade.

Gents,
The OP was looking for LOCKBACKS. You posted LINER LOCKS.

NOT THE SAME THING.

Please read the thread before posting..
