I just noticed yesterday that I passed 15000 posts. Now, I think I spend way too much time on the interwebs ;), but while I am recuperating at home, I'm spending an inordinately large amount of time online. I've seen a lot of giveaways, and I wanted to step up to the plate, and hold a giveaway of my own.

It's for a Camillus 23 equal end jack/cigar jack big huge honkin' knife. It's big and bulky like me, except I don't have as much patina! It's pretty sharp, sharper than me, but hey. It's round too, just like me. I love this knife, and wanted to show my appreciation for this fine subforum. I've learned a lot here, and met a lot of good people.

On to the rules. I guess this will go for about two weeks or until it loses steam. Let's say September 10th. The winner will be chosen by a random number generator. Your post number will be your entry number, and only one entry per member. This is open to all members in the Traditional forum. All I ask is that you post some pics of knives. They must be traditional, but they can be folders or fixed blades. Whatever really pops. I love a good patina and pocket worn bone scales. One last thing, I will not exclude our members living outside the USA, but I can only ship the knife to them if they win, I cannot be held liable once it leaves the States.

Here's some pics!

i'm glad to see you are up and running. we might have done business in the past , i can't remember for sure??

anyway, i never win in these giveaways but it is still fun to throw a hat in the ring.

i also have not figured out how to post images. argh

"pocket knives" are a favorite of mine from way back. Congress knives or anything wearing ram's horn or stag turns me on.

all good

I just 'celebrated' my fifth anniversary of breaking both of my legs, and bladeforums was a major part of my life during my 6 months in a wheelchair, so I can understand a bit of what you are going through. Thanks for the chance, here are a couple of my favorite pics:

Congrats on 15K!!
What a milestone.

I've been interested in old ad knives and that one looks great! I'd like a chance at that.

I really like the look of old knives. Mine have not quite "aged" yet but it will as it accompanies me throughout the years.

Congrats on 15K  And I know what you mean, I'm at 12K+ on another forum :D

Trouble is, I keep my knives nice and shiny, no patina to speak of on my carbon blades. Can I post my favorite Scout style? I really love this knife, and it has carbon blades and great stag, goes to all Scouting events with me since I bought it:

Thanks for the chance and I hope you get feeling better soon!

This Case 6244's bone is worn flat where the thumb rest, I also love how black & worn the blades are.
