I know 15n20 is a good knife steel favored by many (including myself), but I can’t find any performance tests by Knife Steel Nerds for it.
Have I just overlooked it?
I am interested in seeing test results listing 1095, 15n20, and 8670 and how they may differ/perform at a given hardness (typically RHC-62-63). I see many threads for 1095 and 8670 comparisons but have not found 15n20 in that mix. Are some of the preferences for 8670 primarily for it’s forging characteristics aside from blind comparisons?

Also, a few years ago I saw (somewhere??), a bar graph (Tri-colored), listing knife steels in ranking to each other in hardness, toughness, and corrosion resistance? If I recall correctly, this graph included MagnaCut in it.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Might not be THE chart I WAS looking for but it dang well fills the bill! That’s a really good resource, I’ve bookmarked it for future reference needs.
Thanks much!

It performs great in the kitchen at 62-63, along with edc's, hunters, and B&T's. As much as I really like it I'd use something else for a chopper/machete/large bushcraft type blade, ymmv.
Enjoyed the video!
