I cut out a design for a short machete and I need some opinions on the design.
Pictures: https://imgur.com/a/yDv9Z
Specs:
Steel: 15n20
Over all length: 14.5"
Blade length:10"
Handle length: 4.5"
Blade width: 1.5"
Grip width: 1"
Thickness: 1/16"
What is a good hardness to shoot for during the HT? I was thinking somewhere around 56-57 to get a good balence. Do you think 58 would be pushing it for a machete this thin?
Thanks for helping,
Kevin
