Does anyone have a source for less than $12.25 LB. I should of asked the price before ordering 10#. 1084-$2.51, 5160-$1.50 and 52100 5/8" rod $5.64

There's a guy named Kelly, on the Paltalk Knifemaker chat. He sells the stuff for less, IIRC.
Check with Joe(chisel)on how to get in there.

Mike: That Joe is a turkey:p :p , he keeps telling me that he will show me how to get there and I haven't found my way. But the again I lost my way along time ago.

George, I dont know if I should tell you this after that high heels crack but their is a guy here in my neck of the woods named Kelly Cupples. He will even shear it to the size you want. Email me and I will get his number off my wall.

George-

I got mine from Uddeholm steel. Here is a link to thier site:

Uddeholm

They sell it in coil form. The sale guy I talked to happened to have a drop from a coil that was 0.065 x 1.125 x 47 pounds. He gave it to me for $3.00 a pound. He also had a 106 pound coil of C1095 for $1.00 a pound. I took that one too.

Anyway, they usually charge $6.00 a pound for the stuff new. But it cant hurt to give them a call and see what drops they have.

Hope this helps.

This is the same guy I mentioned earlier George. I didn't know his last name.
