IIRC, the DS15 as produced in 2002 was a stagged bone handled Sharpfinger pattern with laser pierced blade and came in a laser engraved walnut box with a money clip replica of the stamp. This knife could possibly be an unfinished (non-etched) sample shown to show the U.S. Department of Interior for selection. Or an unfinished knife someone glued that emblem into.
