Here's the 1st. one
The blade is 1095 carbon 16" long X 1/4" thick. The full tanged handle
has a goat skin wrap over Oak scales.
It's made for heavy chopping so I guess you could call it a field cutlass.
I'll give more details later.
This one is already sold.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Mike-your stuff just keeps getting better and better. I love seeing your name under a new post as it means something new and exciting is about to be shown.

I like it- I feel the downward sweep of the blade compared to the handle is reminiscent of the d-gaurd woodsmans pal(to me of course)

Thank you.
Here's the specs.
22" overall. Weighs 2lb., 8oz.
Blade is 16" X 1. 3/4" X 1/4" thick (1095 carbon spring steel).
Handle is 5. 5/8" long with a full 4. 1/2" in
the D-Guard.
The fittings are 1018 steel welded in place.
Thanks for looking,
Mike

Thank you.
I do prefer making choppers over fighting styled blades.
This one is sold.

Mike, You still have to make some fighters to appease all the fighter crazed people you have created......

The funny thong is most choppers turn out to be better fighters that alot of designated fighters-

But as I and everyone else said- love your designs, and keep em comin!

I plan to keep making fighters. Infact I made more Primitive D-guard Dueling Bowie blanks.
I have 4 available to take orders on.
I don't expect them to last long once listed.
Mike

Nice! I've had to help work on/cleanup the mess of a multi-family machete fight down South.... big choppers are very, very, very nasty in the hands of determined/terrified people.
