Hi guys,

Kind of an odd number for purposes of hosting a give-away, I know, but I neglected to have one when I hit the 1000 mark and I think now is a good time.

I'll be giving away a Kershaw Leek, just the regular plain edge stone-washed version, nothing fancy unfortunately, sorry. I'll be purchasing it brand new though.

Some ground rules:

1. I can only ship to CONUS residents at this time, sorry guys.

Actually I guess that's pretty much it.

So just post here letting me know what your current favorite EDC knife is, and why it's working for you so well right now.
Pics are always great but not required. But I like to look at knives so.... :)

I'll use a random generator to select a winner at the end of the month.

Enjoy and thanks to everyone at Bladeforums that makes it my favorite place on the net.

GEC steel toenail is tough to leave at home.

The blackwash Skyline currently holds that place for me, for obvious reasons. I just need to figure out a deep carry clip. Thanks for the entry!

(I'm actually very happy to get my post as my favorite number.)

My favorite was the Kershaw Skyline but I got a Spyderco Delica 4 FFG maybe a month ago and now that goes to work with me most days. Still love the Skyline. I gave the blade a nice mirror polish. I can't post photos from my phone though sorry :( anyway thanks for the opportunity!

My everyday carries (plural) are a US-made Schrade lockback Firebird and a Victorinox Spartan. Former in my pocket, latter in nylon sheath on my belt.:cool

The lockback is big enough a sturdy enough to do useful work, the Victorinox has all the little tools to satisfy my inner McGyver. :D

My EDC is a PM2 in Camo/Blk S30v with a custom Low Rider titanium clip. I like it a lot because its a perfect PM2. Some of them are a bit finicky and have little quirks (sticky compression lock, off centered blade, etc..) But some are pure perfection in the hand. Thanks!!

I'm in!

My current fav EDC is my ZT 0562CF. The fact that it has replaced my 0801 says a lot in my book, as I had been carrying the 0801 for several weeks straight.

I'm in. Thank you.
Benchmade 940-1 because of its stealth and beauty. Oh, also because of its great s90v steel.
Spyderco PM2 CTS-204P. A steel that just stays sharp.

My favorite right now is my skyline with a Damascus blade....thanks for the chance!

Lately been carrying my Protech TR-3 auto and SAK Alox Farmer. Really like the combo.

I recently got a Buck Vantage select. I traded for a used one with a black blade. At the same time I bought a new one with a satin blade. I don't usually go for black blades. They both came the same day. The black blade is slightly different than the satin blade.
The Select with the black blade is an amazing knife, the best knife you can buy for $25 in my opinion. The satin model I would pass on. The shape of the blade makes a world of difference.

I said all that to say that I am now carrying a black Buck Vantage Select....... also, I'm in. Thank you.

I'm in. I have been carrying a Buck Vantage Force Pro. I really like how well made it is. Thanks for the chance!

I'm in, and thanks for a pretty cool GAW! I've always wanted a leek....have no clue why I've never pulled the trigger on one.

Anyway, I've been toting this BM Triage around since I got it a week ago via trade thread.
