What in the hell would you do with a rubber machete? Even as a prop , wouldn't it look kind of fake? If you were using it on people, their going to fix it all with special effects anyway, and you don't want it bending and flopping sideways with every hit. And if they were cutting something else, why didn't they just really cut it?
