Anyone find one in stock yet? I have looked everywhere, even fleabay and no luck.

I happen to have one right here:D:D

Sorry, it was just too tempting, I don't mean to tease.

Cheers,
Jon

They could just be in transit from distribution to dealers now. The first shipment wasn't overly large (500 pieces), so you just need to keep a close eye out, or put in an order with someone to ensure your in line.

I kept my order with 1 stop knife shop, I didnt cancel it or anything. I was just informing presz that they dont actually have them in stock.

It really makes you wonder how Kershaw can do it. The "do it" is bring a USA made knife, with the newest in technology- a composite blade featuring a CPM D2 edge, to the market for under $60.00, while other companies are importing knives with 420J2 blade steel for the same price, or higher. It's no wonder Kershaw has the loyal following it does!!:D:thumbup:

Hush! Keep up all that praise, and Kershaw will get a big head and raise the prices! Shhhhh... :)

out of curiosity, and since im on lunch and don't have time to search. what was the reasoning for making the leek a randomized (even if all knives are the same 'random' pattern) for the composite and the JYDII a more symmetric pattern?

Possibly because the Leek is a Ken Onion design and he uses more organic style elements and the JYD is a Tim Galyean design and the JYD uses aircraft design elements, more technological in style.

hmm. never thought about it like that, but it makes sense. i'm not sure if this is the real reason, but i'd buy it.

Knifecenter has them in stock right now. I ordered mine sunday and got it just an hour ago. Beautiful knife!

Thanks for the heads up. When I put an order in at 1Stopknifeshop.com (last week) they said they were going to have them in this week, when I called again today they said it would be 4-6 weeks.

I know they had 24 at the time of my posting as I was emailing them.

They never showed up on the page.
