.....

I have found that prices are low and service very good from Discount Knives. I ordered an Ontario Bill Bagwell Bowie recently, and it was delivered very quickly. Also, Brian at Discount Knives sent an email to let me know when it was shipped, so I could make plans to get by the post office on the arrival day to pick it up.
Discount Knives also ships by USPS Priority Mail, which I prefer as it is easy to predict the delivery date and get by the local Post Office to pick up the package.

I second AlaChoctaw's recommendation of Bayou LaFourche. Roger doesn't have the widest range of stock, but what he does have is very competitively priced. Perhaps most importantly, BF provides excellent customer service. Orders ship promptly -- by UPS, a little slower, but far easier to track should something go awry.

One of our own forumites, shootist16, Dennis Bible, sells knives. His signature has his website link. Dennis' prices are very fair, and he too provides excellent service. He's just a darn nice guy too. (Plus he has the intelligence to be a great fan of the wonderful Spyderco Wegner, my primary EDC) Dennis posts on this forum, the Spyderco forum, and assorted others.

I also like Skylands Cutlery, and Knife Outlet. The owner of Knife Outlet, Fred, is a frequent contributor here. I hear good things about Triple Aught Design, and the New Graham pharmacy.

If you have any doubts about an online vendor, you can go to the Good, Bad, & Ugly, under the Exchange group of forums. Run a search on the name you're interested in as subject, and read what pops up. Can't remember if there is a GB&U archive or not.
