Hello, So the long story short is I purchased this knife some years back for my step dad and when he passed away I received it back into my collection. I have attempted to do some research on this and am getting mixed results. I see many 1670's in different colors going for the 30 to 40 dollar range however this orange version with the CPM154 is seemingly much more rare? I read 300 made possibly?
I don't have the box but the blade appears to be un used.
Any info I could get on this would be great! thank you!

Beautiful.

Definitely not a variant I've seen. There are serious Kershaw Blur collectors who, I am sure can give you an answer. All I can contribute is that I like it!

In my opinion the limited edition Kershaw blurs are much harder to find than Spyderco sprints . I been trying to collect them for a while but they don’t show up anywhere . They don’t go for PM2 or PM3 prices but easily double to triple what you paid .

Maybe to help a little better. What type of info where you searching for.

I am curious how rare it is, if its something I should hold on to long term. pretty much wanting to know if im sitting on a run of the mill Blur or a desirable one.

It is a rare one for sure. How rare just depends on how many where made and really how many survived. It may be best to email Kershaw directly and see if they can give you those numbers.

If you aren't going to use it and you don't need the money, I'd say sit on it. I'm no blur collector but I can't say I've ever seen this variant. Cpm version of 154 seems quite rare in a production knife like the blur as well.

Knives are normally a horrible way to invest money but that one could end up being valuable given the popularity of the blur and the number of collectors.

Just posting on a dead thread to ask if you still have the orange blur and if you’re willing to sell? I’ve been seeking one for ages.
