The Kami's must like the F.Folly because they all look fantastic. I mean consitantly a slight step above their usual work. Sword of shiva straight and even, handles carved clean and finished well.:)
 
From what I understand from talking to Yangdu, the Kamis consider the FF a headache. It is very hard to make fullers with that light weight/thin a blade. IT is time consuming and then hard for HI to make a profit.

I was taken by that beautiful Saaj wood handle and that it was made by Bura.
I'm anxious to compare it to the ones I have that Sher made!:thumbup: ;)
 
I can't wait to hear your comparison, Yvsa! Who better. I'm going to have to do some work to make the Saaj handle on the Jange I got the other day fit my hand. And there is so much jewlers rouge to remove it'll be a fun project for sure. Pretty Awesome Khuk though!

*sigh* sometimes responsibility and adulthood and stuff really stink. I passed up another beautiful Rose last year around this time under the exact same circumstances.

This is my first Kukri other than the $15 Cold Steel sheet metal POS that doesn't really count. I have been trying to get in on one of these deals for a few months but you guys are too fast to buy them.

I can see why it would be more difficult to make....but dang they sure to a fine job on them!!
