Was just brousing the threads and reading about trying the 17 degree angle on a 110 ION.

Got me to wondering if any of you have tried your 110's on the 4 different settings on a Lansky clamp and what your results have been??

All I have ever used is the 25. I may be in a rut and need to get out more..:o :o

Sorry I use either the 17 or 20... never used the 25 or 30.

Gets em sharp, thats all I care ;)

I lied... I may use the 25 on the 119... and Goosers' nighthawk!
Works slick!

So how do those angles hold up for what you do with them?

Great so far, but I havent had the chance to use it on a deer or anything large. Mainly just miniscule tasks like cutting packing tape :D
Or rope, etc. Once you lose the factory edge its hard to really tell how long an edge lasts (for me anyway) I usually judge by if I can clean a whole deer without resharpening etc. Sorry I'm not much help!
