.....

Cybertool 34 measures 1 and 1/16th wide. Not sure of weight. It is a bit too big for everyday pocket carry. I carry mine in the leather belt pouch.

IMHO, the Juice series is easier to just drop into the pocket and carry more comfortably. Also the Juice will fit into the change/watch pocket of most jeans very nicely.

Hope this helps.

I don't know if you have handled a Juice yet, but I would reccommend that you do before getting a Cybertool. I got a Juice S2 as a present for my brother, but of course I had to open it up and carry it for a few days. Only to check for proper function and durability, of course;) . They feel very different from any other multi-tool or SAK that I have ever used and carry very well. Definately play with one before making a decision.

I have always prefered Leatherman tools over SAKs because I feel that they have a tendancy to go a bit overboard including various tools that are of limited use. You may have completely different requirements, but I really see nothing of importance on the Vic besides the bit adapter which is not also on the Juice. I know that I have more occasion for good needlenose pliers than a Torx bit while I'm away from home.

Unless you have a real need for the extra parts on the Vic I'd say go with the Juice. Or, as is the usual answer on the forums for a post like this, "Why not get both?" Good luck.

Has anyone looked at the new gerber 700 urban legend? I have the leatherman wave and love it, but find it too big to put into my ever overstuffed pockets, but I am discovering that the micra just isn't measuring up to even my relatively light needs. Was thinking about moving to a juice s2 (or maybe cs4, but worry still about the size) when I stumbled across the gerber 700 which looks pretty comparable. Anyone got one of these yet?

M Cybertool 41 is almost 1 1/4" wide. Pretty wide. Gets a little in the way sometimes when turning a screw in a tight spot.

Personally, I don't feel it is too big for pocket carry, but if I wore jeans instead of dockers, I might believe differently...

I had a CS4 Juice and did not like it. My scissors did not cut well and I found the pliers difficult to use. To each his own, though.

I carried the Cybertool 29 (no scissors or pliers) with a LM Pulse as my daily carry and felt it worked well. Thinking of now switching to a Supertool 200 and a Cybertool 34.

I like the SAK pliers but not as pliers -- more as super tweezers. That said, I would still prefer they were omitted since they add the most to width and weight.

Excited to hear what you decide. Let me know if you want to borrow my Cybertool 41 and see if it is right for you. Only cost you the shipping back (I will cover it to you).

PS Sucked any souls lately, you runesword, you?

I recently replaced the Leatherman Clip-it with a Micra in my first-aid kit, and I started carrying the Clip-It.

I'm actually pretty impressed with it. I do know I'm much more likely to "whip it out" and do some worth with it -vs- the $500+ custom folders I normally carry.

Yeah, I love Elric et a.,

I think the 34 is the best choice. I didn't think the saw and file would add that much width. But it does. I may switch my 41 for a 34 sometime soon.

Would love a Cyber-Yeoman -- one blade (probably would be large, but I would prefer the small), bitdriver, bits, combo tool, and scissors and of course the little tools.

And a supertool 200 to fill in the gaps...
