I am waiting on a Savage 93R17-FVSS in .17hmr and looking for a good scope that wont break the bank.

You may want to consider a Mueller APV 4.5x14. It's a lot of scope for the money. No Leupold, but not nearly as expensive.

Go here http://www.mizzoumuleguns.com/id12.html for more info. I just bought the same scope from mizzou mule and he is in Alaska, but ships his stuff from a warehouse operation in Missouri.

Very customer oriented guy . . . seems anxious to please.

You can find more info on Mueller scopes here http://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums/index.php. Do a search on 'Mueller'. The guys at rimfirecentral.com seem to like them.

Good luck . . . let us know what you decide.

BSA Sweet 17, comes in three choices of power...2X7, 3X12, 6X18. The selling feature is all three incorporate bullet drop compensator, this means no guessing at holdover on the longer shots. Price runs $70 and up depending on who you get it from and what power you want.
