My local Wally World has their Leatherman Kicks on sale for $18. Is that a good price? I don't know if I need one though, I've got a Supertool 200. (which I hardly ever carry, it's too uncomfortable)

Could you tell me of any advantadges of to having a Kick? Would it be more comfortable to carry around than my Supertool 200? Does it have a useful assortment of tools? (I know what tools it has, I'd like to know of your experiences with its tools and how they worked.)

Thanks.

I got mine last summer for $28.00 at Home Depot. The Kick has nothing over the SuperTool except it's lighter and less bulky. Only five implements, but they are what you need in a pinch. For $18.00 I'd get it and put it in my vehicle or you might find it easier to carry than the SuperTool.

I have several multi tools, including a Kick, and most likely would have to buy another one if I found it for $18. I too have the Supertool 200 - since you said it's uncomfortable to carry, I assume that you are carrying it without a sheath? If so, then a Kick would definitely fit in your pocket a lot better, actually feeling more like a regular pocketknife. It's sort of like the orginal PST in that you can carry it without a sheath and replace a pocketknife at the same time, depending on your needs and use. All that being said, the Kick's implements in my opinion have performed as well as the Supertool, other than they don't lock. I think it's well worth $18 and it's a good lighter weight multi tool to tote when you don't need to have a full toolbox on your side.

Yeah, I tried to pocket carry my Supertool 200 but couldn't. (I don't like sheaths that much) I EDC a SAK, but need pliers more often than I can count. I'm thinking of buying the Kick to replace carrying my SAK.

Thats a good price but at my walmart they had them marked down to five dollars. So I picked up the last two.
