Went to run a work related errand during lunch and when I got back to the office there was a triangle shaped box in my chair. Guys and gals, this is one outstanding knife. I can't believe the difference in feel between this and my other khuks. It feels like it floats at the end of my hand. Do all 18" WWII's feel like this? If they do, I understand why UB likes them. This one is lighter than most at only a pound and a half. The wood handle is beautiful. I have to fill a small gap between one slab and the tang where the epoxy is missing. Not a big deal in the least.
The first word I thought of when I pulled it from the scabbard was "elegant." Kumar did a good job all around. I think this is one of the sharpest blades (out of the box) that I've gotten to date.
Uncle Bill, thanks for making it such a pleasure to do business with you. A rare commodity now-a-days to say the least.
If any of you all have been debating about putting the WWII on your "must have" list, stop and add it to the list. You will love it.
