I asked my oldest daughter what her opinion is of the 18" Kobra, made by Bura, that she received from her mom and I for christmas. The one I tested thoroughly on vines and small stuff before the holidays. She has many martial interests, attends Judo with her mom, practices kendo and SCA heavy weapons practice in full armour with me, especially spear, she's going to college in the Fall and will continue her martial interests there. She's no slouch and the Kobra ain't being treated like no shelf queen.
Her note to me, verbatim:
"My Khukri,
It holds a nice edge and is very sturdy. It was well taken care of and was beautifully handcrafted. A lot of time and effort is shown through its practically flawless design. It brings me good fortune and I have a feeling of contentedness when I wield it. My khukri has a magical aura that helps me get through the day and leaves me with a sense of well being and positivity. I love my khukri, I enjoy its presence and am glad that it decided to find its way into needed hands."
...I couldn't have said it better,
