18" ontario sawback machete

tx, i suppose a sawback doesnt make alot of difference in handling or weight or anything

the problem is when i google after the machete i cannot seem to find any pic or vids when its being used

only sales pics in front of a white background or something like that, which doesnt say much


btw. its not exactly $20 here, its more like 30 euro and an extra 8 shipping
 
My favorite chopper. I use it to gather wood, split it at camp, etc. I use it quite a bit, but the saw back is fairly useless. I have tried to cut down small stuff, but have had little luck. I have been contemplating sharpening the points with alternating bevels and seeing if that would help, but I really didn't get it to serve as a saw.

Love the machete though

mmmm i have one of the gerbers and i like it for 20 dollars its not bad. the handle did come a little loose on mine after chopping thru a downed tree, me and a buddy had to switch off multiple times and its probably not what the knife was designed for though so you should be good. besides its just a minor irritant.

go for it. it is after all only 20 bucks :)
