18" or 28" Handle

Hey guys,

Yesterday I bought a Hudson Bay camp axe on flea bay from the good ol' USA. Just recieved a message asking if i would like a 18" or 28" handle.

Im going to use it hiking and camping for general fire prep and maintenance.

What would you guys reccomend?

Given the choice of an 18" or a 28" handle, I would go with the 28". But I really like a 24" handle on my Hudson Bay axes.

if your going to pack this bad boy on the trail, i'd go with the shorter handle 18 inches.
if you can haul it go with the 28 incher.

18" is good for backpacking. Otherwise, go for the longer one.
