Here is a very respectable 18 inch, 1.75 pound, WWII model made and marked by our old faithful Kesar. The entire rig is a 10/10 effort but the handle has pronounced grain lines. I don't think they will ever develop into cracks but they could so for this reason we will discount this rig $50 and deliver it to your door for $95. This is a very good deal.

Call or email if interested.

Uncle Bill,
Is it my imagination, or is this WWII very similiar to a Sirupati? It almost looks like a GS mixed with a Sirupati? Is it this khukuri, or do all WWIIs look like that? OR am I just nuts (heavy evidence points this way

Just Kesar's style, IMO, looks like he tends to make his blades narrower than most other kamis. The Kesar 18-inch AK that I have tends towards a WWII or BAS in blade shape. The technical execution is good, "respectable" is exactly the word (along with "reliable").

Hmmm....well this gave me reason to check my 18" Kesar made WWII (wood handled).

In comparing with my 16.5" by Prakash, it looks pretty true to form. Perhaps a tad narrow, but not so'd you'd notice.

Kesar does makes a very nice khukuri.

Who'm I kidding? I love 'em all.

I hope that fate will smile upon all of our extended family during this period of turmoil.

I think the gov't has traced the problem to a loss of vegetation caused primarily by Ray C, Jim's methodical "research" and a host of other khukunuts down this way.

By the way, I hear that the space shuttle astronauts were wondering what all those bright flashes of light were emanating from South Florida. Must not know about the "magic stone mirror finish" yet.

I know there are more pictures of the kamis, but I'm having a hard time finding them now. Can you point me toward a pic of Kesar?

Thanks.
