Here is a nice 18 inch WWII made and marked by Murali -- weighs in at 1 pound 14 ounces. Good fit and finish. Pretty hard -- maybe 59 Rc. Karda and chakma pretty good. HI superfrog. The scabbard got split during shipment -- 2 or 3 inches mid cutting edge side. This last parcel took a pretty heavy hit somewhere along the line and a couple of the khukuris went thru the edge of the scabbards.

You can wire wrap the scabbard for a couple of inches for a quick and dirty fix if you are not concerned about appearance. Or, you can do a professional job with epoxy and leather. Or, you can send the knife to Terry Sisco for a new scabbard and he will probably do it for less than the discount I'm giving.

Take this WWII for $95 -- $50 discount -- delivered to your door.

Call or email if interested.

Bro is it just an optical illuson or are the butt caps being made of thicker material?

If we didn't have the plans for vacation I would probaly jump on this one if Brian didn't take it already.
I think some of these guys have got together with Bill Gates and have developed an early warning system for new khukuri postings and they're not telling!!!.

Just to clarify for Yvsa & anyone else confused by my earlier post, I'm not buying this one. I saw that no one had claimed it & was just having fun with those who credit me with fast fingers.

Still refusing to squander the cash I have saved for the ccw license so far. But that training better happen pretty quick now!!!

Bill, you said a couple of the khuks went through the scabbards. Anything in the range of a 15"AK / BAS / WW2 ?

How much can I spend and still make my tuition payments.

Actually, the village model I sent to Harry, the original finish was the other split scabbard. That was a big heavy knife and the blade put maybe an 8 inch rip in the scabbard.

Sorry, Josh, but more villagers are in the air so stay tuned. You can go ahead and spend your tuition money and get a student loan at cheap interest to take care of everything -- tuition and more khukuris.

Yvsa, I think the buttcaps are getting thicker. Quality all the way around keeps improving.

Great buy Novadak!!!
Some of the guys here say this is one of the best a person can have.
I know the WW II blade on my Hanuman Special is really great. A good all purpose blade!!

Bro it's really great too see a thicker butt cap!!
By doing my trick with a file and cutting a small "V" groove right at the juncture of butt cap and wood or horn really gets rid of that pesky burr that pops up there so much of the time.
I did one on the prototype, perhaps the kamis will pickup on that?
